I feel that overall out group did decently even though 1 of our group member was missing. But I think that my performance wasn't very good as I had a lot of unnecessary pauses and this shouldn't have been the case. I would not commit these mistakes again as I have learnt from them. I will focus and concentrate to the fullest to make sure that our presentation is good. My other group members did very well and I will learn from them in the future.
After watching many groups present for the past few weeks and experiencing it for myself, I have learnt how to make a good presentation. Firstly, we must be confident and speak audibly and clearly to enable our audience to listen to what we are trying to present to them. If we do not have confidence in our speech, we would stutter upon words and do weird actions to accompany our speech, which would appear unusual for the audience. Without suitable volume and clarity, the audience might not understand what we are trying to say. Secondly, we must hold a straight and confident posture to accompany our speech as our standing position is very important. I remember my classmates and teachers telling me that I placed all my weight on one side of my body and relied on one foot to stand. ((Like a flamingo)) However, I did not notice at all until they told me about it. Thus, I will consistently ensure that I'm standing properly when I make a presentation in future. Last but not least, we should not read off from our script too often because this shows that we are not well prepared. In addition, pointers should only appear on the slides instead of one whole chunk of information. In conclusion, I feel that it has been a good opportunity of learning how to make a good presentation and we should follow these guiding points to engage with the audience and make a good presentation.
Presentation is an important part of a project as it allows others to see the work you have done and to receive compliments or criticism to maintain or improve. I personally feel that my group members and I have done well for this presentation regarding our feelings for the trip to Chingay parade. We have been told our strengths and weaknesses about our presentation as a group and individually. As for me, although I didn't receive much criticism, I feel that I should not be distracted by my other classmates when I am speaking. A strong point about my presentation is that I maintained eye contact and emphasized on certain words to convince my audience that my own opinion is right. As a group, I feel that we should practise more do that our presentation will be more smoothly carried out. It was such a pity that one of our group member, Guan Jung, was not able to join is in the presentation, and I guess that is also partially the reason why we were slightly messed up. From the other groups presentation, we have also noted some points of improvement that they could make, and on the other hand, we also learnt to not make the same mistake as the other groups did. But overall, I still felt that most groups did a great job:)
Like any other person, i was very nervous ever since i printed out the scripts. I was glad that my group didn't have to go first because at that time i felt that our presentation was off topic. Watching the other groups one by one going up to present, I learn to have more confidence in what we are presenting. The other groups who presented also didn't have their presentation focusing all on the Chingay parade itself but they still had confidence in their speech and they stood up straight, ever-ready to present. I felt that this was the key to presenting well. In my opinion, so long as you have confidence in what you are speaking, you will naturally become more confident in yourself and the body posture and facial expressions all follow. Being the last group to present, i knew that Mr Chua is going to grade us much harsher than the rest, due to the longer period of time we were given. But i felt that my group did very well in our own way because we had confidence in our slides and what we were presenting after such a long time. We were definitely nervous on the day itself, but it went better than expected. One HUGE takeaway for me was to have confidence in my own presentation. (:

As I wasn't there for the presentation , I had to present my own during the next lesson , though I missed the others group presentation , I heard that they were quite good . When I was presenting , I felt very nervous , but it was very normal for us to get nervous , but this chance for me to present allows me to present better next time as I have gain experience from this .
